PRODUCT INFORMATION

The CogniCheck Human Memory Screening CD-ROM is the first-known, CD-based product of its kind that allows persons to screen their short-term memory processes in the privacy and comfort of their own homes. The CD's screening tests, which are identical to those included in CogniCheck's "full" version of its online memory screening, consist of three objective memory measures that screen seven aspects of persons' immediate and delayed verbal (involving words and digits) and visual (involving human faces) recall and recognition abilities. Upon completion of the screening, users' test performances are compared to a normative database (which is included on the CD) and individualized reports are generated that interpret their screening results into easily understandable terms and in relation to their ages (designed for ages 45 to 86 years). In addition to aiding in the identification of age-inappropriate memory impairments, the memory screening may provide peace-of-mind to persons whose results are all within normal limits. The screening CD may also prove beneficial as a baseline screening to which future such memory assessments can be compared.

The minimum computer system requirements include: Processor: 500 MHz or faster; Memory: 512 MB or greater; Operating System: Windows XP or newer; Hard Drive: 150 MB of free space or greater; Browser: Mozilla-based or Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher.
